Copper sheet is available from the copper and brass places. Take a sheet
18"x6', coil it and bury it in a post hole. Clamp and solder your wide
ground cable to it. Use a 6" wide strip of copper sheet. It will slip under

or cable and won't rust. To test this bury 2 of these and 2 ground rods
about 10' apart and measure the resistance between them every month for a
couple of years.
Copper sheeting come 3' wide. Get a length about 15' long and cut
tapered strips starting at 16" wide at one end and taper to about 2" at the
other end. 4 lengths can be made and there is no joints to clamp or solder
outside. Zero Maintenance and the least DC and RF resistance.
Having the copper sheet silver plated would even increase its
conductivity with oxidation. Sound like a good direction to go.
