Hi Gunnar! Thats the Hygain Explorer 14, one of the best beams Hygain ever
built!
The Reflector has one trap on each side and the Director has two traps on
each side.
The 40 mtr element is a add-on and one has to remove some parts to put it on.
So, if you are going to remove the 40- mtr option you have to replace it
with some parts that were taken off when the add-on was installed.
Remember, the 40 mtr
option basically makes the driven element the only active element on 40
so what you have is a rotatable dipole on 40 when it is used.
