Moxon's book HF Antennas for All Occasions describes on p 163 a scheme
for detuning house wiring and piping using a linear tuned trap. It is
either tapped across a length of the resonant conductor or inductively
coupled to it. I have seen this scheme described other places, possibly
in ARRL publications. The idea should work for detuning guy wires. He
also shows a balanced pickup R.F. current probe to detect small currents
in conductors on p 237. I believe I have seen this type of figure 8
shaped coil used for detuning linear conductors somewhere.
Hope it works. Please let us know if it does the job.
