Hi JIm,
I recently purchased a Hexbeam from Traffie technology ( www. traffietech.com)
A fine compact wire beam It comes in mono, three and five band versions. I have
the hx-5b and it works great.I would say it performs on par with a C3SS except
it is resonant on 5 bands SWR is 1.5/1 or better on all bands.F/B is best at
the CW portion of the band .I assembled mine in 11/2 hrs. They make portable
versions for DXpeditions. I recommend it highly!
Regards John W3UX
