Hirsute Heights, IL In the small suburb of Hirsute Heights, bordering on
Chicago, a zoning law appeal was granted after the applicant produced
proof that the existence of an Amateur Radio antenna was beneficial to
many of the nearby residents.
Willy Hunt produced a recently published study by the Medical School of
Purdue University that a control group of volunteers received an
unexpected benefit by living in the near field radiation zone of an
Amateur Radio station.
The control group which contained the normal average of bald, or near
bald men experienced a regrowth of hair. While not all the patients in
the controlled study regrew hair, there was sufficient data to confirm
that Amateur radiations did diminish hair loss or in some cases,
actually resumed the normal growth of hair on previously bald men.
This exciting breakthrough confirmed the claims of other practioners who
used 220 volt AC probes on the scalps of bald individuals in attempts to
rejuvenate the long dormant hair follicles.
Purdue scientists claim that more tests should be done and possibly
increasing the maximum legal transmitter output of amateur radio
operators may increase the incidence or rate of hair regrowth.
