Yes, this animal does in fact exist! Your information is correct in
that it is a special build for Motorola (Referred to as Rohn 35). The
face is I think 14-15" and the legs are tapered like Rohn 25 with no
extra build-up collar at the base of the section and are the same
diameter as Rohn 25. . The zig-zag cross members are nearing (if not the
same) gague as that of Rohn 45.
We have a 180' tower here in Smyrna that is made of this stuff. I have
also seen more of it at Bill Wall's (KC4UZ) place. He can fill you in on
more of the details.
