Well, a long time ago, I started buying and using a red insulator made by
Glastic. http://www.glastic.com/stand.htm It worked very well and there
are several shapes and sizes. I have a pair of them spaced about 4' apart
vertically to support free standing vertical for 40.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Fence insulators for Guys
While searching for the rigging for wire guys, I came
across a polycarbonate fence corner insulator.

Acording to the add it will handle #4000. Has anyone
else seen these? Or tried them as guy-wire insulators?
They are designated as 'DC-10'.
