I think you have something very nearby, perhaps in your own house, that is
emitting the spurs. Perhaps it's a television or computer monitor or God
knows what. As for transmitting and disrupting the source, I had a similar
experience. A few years ago I had a neighbor who had a touch lamp that
caused me grief with the noise that it emitted. I found that if I keyed the
transmitter at about a KW it would disappear. I was actually turning it off
with my signal. A month went by, and then I never heard it again. They got
rid of it. I wonder why? Good luck.
