Don, VE6JY--

I agree with you on the cheap colored tapes from Radio Shack, etc.
But the Scotch 35 colored tapes perform as well as Scotch 33+
and 88.  Remain flexible and no gooey-glue syndrome after a short
period of time like the cheap stuff.

Colors remain good indoors at least for quite a few years.  The
ones I have done 6 or 7 years ago still look very good.  But I don't
have any experience with them outdoors in direct sunlight.  But 3M
claims they are fade resistant.  Not sure that would be an issue for
you with you being so far north!    Especially this time of the year.  ;-)
But it REALLY is an issue in CO at our elevation.
