    From Press the Wireman, N8UG:

>> Before we all get caught up in a bunch of anecdotal info, RG62A/U made by
a reputable house and branded Mil Spec or MIL-C-17F, M12/30-RG62, is, and
always has been, 93 ohm, 13.5pf/ft, 84%VF, with a 22 AWG CCS center
conductor supported by a spiral PE filament (just like the original
Belden 9913). The shield is 95% bare copper, and the jacket is IIA PVC.
The commercial version is the same except for the jacket, not necessarily
IIA.
Just to be sure, I've checked our supply of Belden 9269, and it is as
declared above, right on the money.
Plenum versions have teflon-type foam OR spiral teflon, and run 85% VF
and 12.8pf/ft.
Bargain hunters better have instruments!
