I've seen 'em like that. The wisdom of having it bendable
(aggressively tapered) is why the elements are in a bow shape and will
recover when the ice melts, as opposed to a V shape that will stay
that way and have to be replaced.

Whoever put up that ridiculous "flimsy" F12 post, please take note of
the picture.

If the wind stays down tonight, and if I'm lucky, and if it warms up
tomorrow, I still have a fighting chance. If not, I have photos for
the
insurance company. I suppose the fact that it's still up there at all
is a
testament to Force 12's construction. :-)
