This is exactly why this transmit freq was suggested to the VP8 team.
Transmitting on current "usual" DXpedition freqs of 14195, 21295 , etc is
a relic of when the 20m US phone band ended at 14200 and DX would
call 5 khz below the US phone band edge.
Why expeditions never migrated their transmit freqs below the new expanded
US phone
bands is a mystery to me.
Seems it will certainly reduce the problems so common in recent years and
should make
it easier to copy their signals.
