[Towertalk] Mast-Boom failure

I've had THREE kt34's.  Two XA's, one A.

ALL THREE exhibited cracks in the mast to boom
plate, and were replaced upon discovery in 
routine maintenance inspection.  

All were bought used.  Two plates had been deformed when
acquired.   None felt overtorqued, when I installed
them, but still, the source of the failure appears to be 
overtorquing of the u bolts.
