Hi Bob,
The KLM KT34A has lots of space in the middle between the elements, and is a
great configuration for side mounting. I've side-mounted mine to a US Tower
72' crankup, at 55', pointed straight to Europe.
Hose clamps were used to mount the 3" boom to the side of the tower.
You can see it at http://reallybig.com/tower.
Best of luck!

Subject: [Towertalk] sidemount antenna options....
Does anyone have knowledge/ideas/options available for antennas that lend
themselves to being "sidemounted" on towers vs the traditional mast mount?
This would be for rotating towers (rohn 25/45) or sidemount configurations
ala Custom Metal Works/Array Solutions. I prefer Force 12 triband
stuff.......no monobanders please. Anyone have personal
knowledge/experience
with this? Thanks in advance!
