I'd like to see the hardware that was used to attach the boom to the mast.
That plate is also suspect. Looks like a brushed aluminum finish, the
breaks almost look like they were done with a hacksaw, and all my old
KT34xa's plates did not look like that. It's way too shiny for something
that's been around a while...
Got any more details?
