Subject: [Towertalk] Hiring tower help?

Hello, TowerTalkians --

Please help me with some information if you would be so kind.

I get asked if I know of anyone who does tower work in _____ (pick a

state). I have a small database of guys who have told me that they do
tower
work. I pass the info along if I've got any and *hope* that everything
works
out satisfactorily.

To be honest, my biggest market are the retired guys. They've got
the
money but can't/won't climb due to wives, doctors, medical problems,
etc. so
I know there's an increasing market out there for this kind of thing.

How many of you have hired professional tower help for your ham
station?

How many of you WOULD hire someone if you knew where to find them?

I'm thinking about putting a website together that would have
companies
listed that you could contact if you wanted to hire someone to do tower
work.
Wadda ya think?

Cheers,
Steve K7LXC
