Earl,
Someone mentioned using an electric drill and years ago a W2 sold an
inexpensive electric device called "Towtec". I believe he sold the device
to Lance Johnson Engineering. You might try them and if I am wrong perhaps
someone can come up with the correct buyer. I think he described the device
in one of the magazines in the early 1970's. Beside the drill to raise and
lower the tower you had to have the right winch. I passed on my 71 foot
crank up as he told me it would take 40 minutes to crank up and 25 minutes
to bring down and I could do that by hand. The new winch used by US Tower
makes this a snap.

HI,
This is my second attempt to receive information on the above tower: I am
asking for information from anyone who has knowledge of or who has adapted
an electric wince to the Hy gain HG52SS tower. I am looking at two sources
thus far, US Tower MD-75 and one other source. Any information/ help will be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks and 73,
Earl, W4LLX
