Most email scanners are easy to DOS if not crash entiarly.  The majority will 
attempt to unzip a file and analize the contents for viri.  I have broken 
many a server by sending 10 Gb of zeros zipped up.  

This just proves the mua (mail user agent) is at fault, so one should swich 
mua's and or O/S's.
