That in itself is a turn off to many.  We have to show how easy it is to get 
into ham radio, not how to be a construction engineer.  Wire antennas, 
verticles on a ground peg, etc is cheap, easy and works well enough for a lot 
of fun.  they can become a band busting 100 KW HF DX'er later.
