I had the same problem, I used a piece of brass tubing from a hobby shop soldered to the wiper to repair it. I also decreased the tension on the spring pulling on the wiper and put some lubricant on the nichrome wire where the wiper passes and its been working for a couple of years. gl es 73 Steve VE3TU |
