Most CAT5 and telephone wire will be #26 solid conductor, so use caution
where voltage drops are a concern on longer runs. Ma Bell doesn't hesitate
to use #26 for several mile runs; however, the current requirements in her
case are miniscule. 6-pair drop wire is usually #22, which might be better
for a rotor, especially if you parallel a couple of wires for those leads
requiring heavier current requirements. The telephone wire pair color code
