I am about an inch away from buying the 100' Rohn SCL tower. The last
stumbling block is that they want $140 *per section* to outfit it with
climbing pegs.
I was already told that welding some lightweight ladder onto the side would
de-stabilize it and reduce the wind load rating.
I am looking for alternatives. I hope I can do better than galvanized
carriage bolts from Home Depot...? But I will use them if I have to.
