Quick question "semi-related" to this thread. One towertalker mentioned starting over again for a enw tower base. I've always wondered what the repercussions are to possibly jackhammering the old base apart and using small pieces as "fill" as you're pouring your new base? Less overall "new" concrete for the new pour, but... Is concrete, concrete or does this end up being a harder form of swiss cheese with little strength? David Jones ve3stt@rac.ca |
