    Partly depends on the 40M antenna. F12 wants 12 feet separation while 
I've used CC 402CD's as close as 6-7 feet with little problems. 

    The only 40M antenna with enough problems to warrant turning it 90 
degrees was the old KLM designs - particularly the 4L version. Most current 
40M beams seem to do okay inline with the other antennas.

    Proximity problems generally show up as increases in SWR.
