Without trying to beat a dead horse to death, I have been following the 4sq vs 2el yagi thing. Has anybody either modeled or tried with the real thing to compare a ground mounted 4sq to a sloping vertical dipole array? I am thinking of the type that the top half slopes out and the bottom half comes in to the support structure and is fed with a Comtek or other 4sq box. I believe Tim K3LR used this setup on 160 with a 200ft tower. Any comments? 73 Paul K9OT |
