I use Press Jones' no. 878 "CQ Lightning Arrestor for balanced line"

with the spark gaps opened up so they won't break down with high 
power and the very high VSWR that my feedline has on one band.

However, the recommended solution is to disconnect your balanced line 
and let it drop to the ground, or onto a horizontal bar atop a ground 
rod, at a safe distance from the house.
