Hi there, TTians: What are people using these days for rigging rope (e.g., hauling tools and equipment up the tower, pulley work, tramming antennas, etc.)? I've noticed that one of our professional riggers in New England uses what appears to be high-quality rock-climbing rope. Anybody else using that stuff? If so, where'd you get it? Bet it's really expensive if you buy it at a retail climbing gear store. Anybody using plain-old nylon rope, hemp rope, or plastic yachting rope? 73, Dick WC1M |
