Well Nat,

I feel lucky, and probably luckier that most of the hams living within city
limits with neighbors. I've got an LM-470 Tri-ex tower in the back yard
with a 22' stinger (1/4" wall steel) , with 3 monobanders and a 14' 1/4"
wall al stinger on top of that with a pulley for my dipoles. This puts the
dipoles at about 100'. All this was done in 1980 when my city of residence
DIDN'T require a building permit for installation of a tower. Yep,, I've
even got a letter from the city manager at the time stating this in
WRITING. So you can see why i'm lucky on a 75'x150' city lot. Along with
that I've got good neighbors and GOOD Homeowner's insurance...

best of luck with your tower,,

Bob Smith
