I would need to know Mast OD, Mast ID, (or wall thickness) and type of
material. (or better yet yield strength).
Is the 15 SQ FT a Flat Loading or Round Loading.

With this I could give you the mast survivability, whether the top tower
section could withstand this loading that is a whole new issue.

Also how much of the mast would be below the upper thrust bearing??

Mast Length to Wind Loading Questions.

Hello to all,

Is there a rule of thumb to follow?

Tower rated:
15 Square feet 1 foot above tower top.

Moving the antenna to 15 feet above tower top.

How large in square feet can the antenna be without exceeding the tower
limits?

Thanks,
Rich AA2MF
