But if feedline losses are so bad that the extra loss from high SWR is significant, you've got a bigger problem in the feedline. Extra loss is below 1 dB in a low loss line until SWR exceeds 10:1 With 3:1 SWR, you don't get to an extra dB until feedline loss is already 4 dB AT 2:1 SWR it never adds more than half a dB for ANY feedline. -- Darrel J.
