For those folks who track fallen towers...

http://www.state.sd.us/sdpb.htm

Here is the article:
State Radio Communications lost a 180' foot guide
tower in Mitchell on the morning of March 18. The
tower had been in service for 12 years and fell due to
an anchor failure. This tower provides public safety,
radio and weather services. Public safety mobile
coverage has been picked up by surrounding towers.

South Dakota Public Broadcasting FM radio services
(90.9) were temporarily lost. The SDPB radio services
will be back operational on Wednesday March 19, pm.

National Weather Service coverage for those with
weather radios will be unavailable until the new tower
is installed and operational. The new tower will be
installed and operational the week of April 1.
