| A while back I asked about a Heights tower that was "creaking". A number of you suggested that one or more of the joints had "egg-shaped" holes on the inside leg. I've conducted an inspection and found that one joint has movement and is the inside tube has an oval-shaped hole. Can I drill out the two holes and use larger bolts as a repair? 73 de Tom, K4NR |
