You're nuts!
Have it bent up for you - go to a large local lumber yard and say you
need some rebar - here is what I need...
NOTE I did not saw Home Center...
They have machines to bend it up - or can refer you to someone who
does... it is really cheap to do and you cannot hope to ever make as
tight a bend as a hydraulic machine can make...
You will probably want them to make your "hoops" with the splice along
the side rather than the corner - sometimes they run wild (past the
meeting point) - not to worry just tie that with the bar ties...
