Once when I looked at the 4 element 20 meter beam it was TOTALLY covered
with birds... a picture was taken and over 200 were sitting on it...
quite happy to have a place to hang out together it seemed! I haven't found any dead bird sin the yard yet - but I have found fish skeletons on the flat plate at the top of the tower (honest, I really have) ... guess at 100 foot plus it makes a nice place to dine - HEAH - we should kill all the birds because they are killing the fish! Society is so friggin' out of hand... Rather, I enjoy watching the birds that come in to my feeders and then perch on the antennas and sing! Antenna make a great bird sanctuary.
