I have been using 2 - 4" PVC pipes that were installed before the concrete
was poured for the basement walls. All my cables go through these pipes. I
use fiberglass insulation to seal them. This makes it easy to add or remove
cables. I do not feel any draft in the winter and the rodents have not tried
to get through thru the insulation.

How are people getting their coax into the shack in
the basement ?? i was thinking of using 4" pvc pipe
with a cap on the outside with holes drilled for coax
and sealing around each coax run with rtv when i put
them in ....

thanks
