I did some experimenting with NEC on a radial field that is uneven. A
radial every 15 degrees (24 in a circle) on one side, and every 30 degrees
on the other. Not a fancy model, in free space, just trying to find out
what sorts of distortions there are. Upshot: Not a huge difference - a dB asymmetry in the pattern, at most, except for very high takeoff angles. You can see it all at: http://home.earthlink.net/~w6rmk/antenna/radial1.htm Comments welcome. _______________________________________________ See: http://www.mscomputer.com for "Self Supporting Towers", "Wireless Weather Stations", and lot's more.
