Hello all...
I have an old Texas Towers like (may be a wilson but not sure) crank-up, crank
over and it is time to replace the lifting cables... Does anyone have any
suggestion or opinions as to what to use?? I have read that stainless braided
cable is available as well as the stranded galvanized. The current cable
appears to be 1/4 inch for both the lift and the lay-down.
Due to the discussions on this list I just purchased and am awaiting the
delivery of two gear winches so I might as well replace the cable now too...
It is getting a little worn...
Thanks in advance for any and all help, comments and opinions.
