Had a roof mounted Universal aluminum tower on the peak of my Las Vegas house.
Tower was guyed and 30' high. Built a saddle for the roof peak out of a single
4"x 8"x 8' plank. Underneath I'd braced the roof trusses so a portion of the
load would be transfered to a bearing wall.
Bolted to the saddle was a Universal hinged base. The whole thing worked great.
Have a photo of it on our webpage at http://www.qsl.net/w7gk/

Subject: [TowerTalk] rohn 25 roof mount?
Is there such a thing as a roof mount that straddles the peak?
Or do I have to have something fabricated?
This would be for a rohn 25.
