Thanks for the info. I have checked to make sure that nothing is in the way
of the rollers, all is clear. The tram actually will not move up at all. IT
is a ground level now. IT acts as if there is too much weight on the tram (
although this is not the case at all ). I only have a mast and rotor on the
tram. I wanted to test out the operation of the tram before I put the
antenna on the mast. The hand crank will  move the cable until the
turnbuckle comes into contact with the tram crossmember, then nothing, the
pulley just slips around the cable. I can't believe that the cable needs to
be tighter, but this evening I will try to tension it more. This just
doesn't make sense.
