A few mos ago we were talking hot and hvy about ground rods. RF Grounds,
lightning arrestors, ect.
Someone mentioned that ground rods do not necessarily hv to be implanted
vertically. They can be installed horizontally in a trench. But the depth of
such
placement was never addressed.
I live on top of a VERY rocky ridge. When I had a well dug the driller broke
2 or 3 bits before he got to 150'.
While vertical implantation would be a financial nightmare I could
conceivably dig the necessary trenches for horizontal placement of the ground
rods
though. Can anyone address this issue ?? Tom ?? Steve ??
