I have an 8V and had trouble. Couldn't get the intermittent SWR problem
solved. Called Ameritrion and asked if I could purchase just the
switch portion (ie., the outside relay portion). I was told the old
relays had been replaced with enclosed relays. After I swapped it out
(about $80 later) it worked and continues to work just fine. I would
think a new unit would now have the enclosed relays.
