Yaesu's $800 digital "solution" is a bad joke. Here's a tip:

I know several people who have used this product, and they all love it. It is
compatible with most major logging software for automatic rotor setting (HyGain
DCU-1 / Rotor-EZ language compatible). Full support for Yaesu overlap and
slow-down functions. $149.95 from the manufacturer. Check it out. I'm going to
be getting one when I purchase my G-1000DXA shortly.
