This debate about under-the-house or around-the-house is moot in my case, as the
house foundation, floor, and frame are already in place. So going under the slab
is not an option. The concrete patios and walkways and driveway are not yet
poured, however, so the option of cutting a slit trench around the perimeter of
the house close to the foundation still exists. How far from the foundation
would you put the interconnecting conductor (heavy wire or strap)? How deep?
