I was wondering about this when I saw the question, because the AN
Wireless Web site has a report by an independent consultant comparing
the Trylon and AN Wireless towers. According to this, the Trylons are
not designed to conform to any specific standard (or else Trylon will
not say what standard), whereas the AN Wireless towers are designed to
conform to the appropriate ANSI/TIA/EIA standard for antenna towers.
AN Wireless says they can arrange stamps for $250.

Hi Alan;
I, and perhaps many others on this thread, would like to look at that
"independent report". Can you direct us to where it is. Somewhere
other than a
competitors webpage, I hope.
Oh, in regards to AN vs Trylon. They both manufacture decent amateur
products
but in the case of Trylon, their Titan Line (the line hams see the
most) is
adequate but low end stuff compared to the rest of their product line.
They
have been around almost 50 yrs and have manufactured 50,000+ towers in
place all
over the world. They are able to manufacture to any standard anywhere
in the
world.
