I would use MultiNEC to do this. You can make the phase of one of the antennas a variable and run a complete set of iterations in one operation, then view the resulting patterns as a "movie." Very neat! See www.qsl.net/ac6la for info and a free, full-featured demo -- you need Excel in order to use it, though -- MultiNEC uses Excel as its underlying engine.
