An easier way involves a handful of resistors of known values (all different) ... the rest "should" be rather obvious!

FINDING THE WAAARRR .. well, back in my engineering days (broadcast) ... it would take two to do it, but here's how ... short out 2 waaaars at one end, a VOM at the other finds the 2 shorted... then, narrow it down to knowing ONE .. then, I'm sure anyone on this reflector can figger out the rest ... If it's a far cry from one end to another, borrow a couple 2m HTs ... Mark AA6DX
