Hi, i?m Wolfgang an a own a Hustler 5BTV

I got nearly the same Problem like you.
But i find out the reason was the Radials.

Have you your Hustler Grund mounted or on the Roof?

The right lenght and the Numbers of the Radials are very important.
The have also a very big effect on your SWR and feedpoint Impedance.
You should install a minimum of 4 Radial per Band.
All other solution you have bad results

If you have no Radials installed, thats could be depends on your soil
resistance
or any other nearby Elements.

Then you can adjust till 100 years, you will never found a good solution.

In this case you can only install a remote Tuner direct on the feedpoint of
the antenna

BTW: Hustler Engennering told me 500khz for 1/4 inch adjustment of the Traps
