I always read Tower Talk and, while I've never had anything more than a
vertical or G5RV, I frequently come away with some new bit of knowledge
about construction practices and metallurgy, trends in ham radio, neighbor
relations or a million and one other topics discussed here. Recently there was a discussion of the issues involved in setting 4x4s. I read the discussions and noted the information. This morning my wife decided that we need a few 4x4s set in the backyard for a project of hers. Thanks to TT I've got a few ideas on how to go about it.
