So if you use copper pipe, can it be cadwelded or does it just melt? I do not have any experience with cadwelds.

A much cheaper way to go..........1/2 inch copper pipe, soft or hard. More
surface area, pure copper, and very easy to jet down. For those who can't
jet due to location, nr 3 rebar fits perfectly inside 1/2 for reinforcing to
take the hammer blows.


I have done this for all my rods.
