I am running Writelog controlling an
FT-1000D and a Steppir. The Steppir
initially goes to the right frequency,
then jumps to 20.95 MHz. The Steppir
website warns about this and says
newer "software" (I think they mean
firmware) might fix this. Does the firmware
reside on the little board with 9 pin
connectors or in the main controller board?
Has anyone upgraded their controller?

BTW, the controller works fine with DXBase.
